Rockin' Out Loud
 ROCKIN' OUT LOUD!, a two day event, organized by the now defunct G.I.R.L Productions. camera girl couldn't be there so there are not much to say. Sorry y'all, camera girl is a career girl also and cannot follow the boys around as often. So see you all at their upcoming gigs. Hopefully I can join in the moshing CHEERS~! 8:50 PM

IN A NUTSHELL... Back in 2004, 3 little boys- Haikal, Hakim and Fauzy were talking about different types of music but their feelings are mutual when it comes to one genre- ROCK. So an idea struck them. They put their heads together and A BAND is formed. Before the whole idea came up, they were just jamming for fun. Haikal was the one who came up with the band name, which is MELTING ICE. They were having lunch one day during recess time when Haikal noticed ice cubes melting on the table. To him, it looked cool and meant something. When ice melts, the droplets came together and form one puddle. Meaning, the “droplets”, symbolizes them and when they come together they form a group, which is the “puddle”. So MELTING ICE was born. Unfortunately, in 2005, Hakim, guitarist, thought he was not ready and he had not collected enough skills yet so he left the band to practise by himself. Which left the band with only 2 original members, Haikal and Fauzy, the rhythm guitarist and drummer respectively. They needed a bassist. So in 2006, they roped in Asri, who at that time, just started learning how to play the bass. Soon the 3 of them were jamming and practising together, seriously this time. In 2007, early January, Hakim determined he was ready enough and got himself back into the band. Their first performance was to represent their school in an inter-school band competition. They played their hearts out till they reached the semi-finals but sadly they lost. That was when they decided that MELTING ICE is here to stay. And so the final line-up for MELTING ICE is:-  Full name: Muhammad Haikal bin Shariff Nicknames: curl Birthday: 27 December 1991 Hobbies: hanging out, playing online games, playing sport, watching tv Musical influences: Theory of A Deadman, Lifehouse, Puddle of Mudd About Haikal: Loves to eat, friendly and outgoing, a bit shy towards girls, hopes to bring Melting Ice far Full name: Muhammad Noor Hakim Nicknames: achimp, bob, bobby, bobo Birthday: 02 February 1991 Hobbies: listening to music, surfing the nnternet, hanging out, playing the guitar Musical influences: Amber Pacific, Hinder, Breaking Benjamin About Hakim: loud, imaginative and creative, idea-machine, likes to joke and laugh a lot, loves to eat, a very outgoing boy Full name: Muhammad Fauzy Bin Ramlan Nicknames: gygy, zack Birthday: 08 April 1991 Hobbies: experimenting drumbeats, shopping, playing diffrent kinds of sports, hanging out Musical influences: Taking Back Sunday, Alter Bridge, The Academy Is... About Fauzy: friendly, outgoing, likes to joke around, the joker among the group, passionate about music Full name: Muhammad Asri Bin Abdul Hamid Nicknames: As Birthday: 26 November 1991 Hobbies: practicing and creating sounds on his bass, watching tv, cooking, play video games Musical influences: Muse, Lifehouse, Plainsunset About Asri: very shy and very quiet, can be outspoken after being introduced around, loves to cook and eat, loves indie music We Keep Making Music And Also Playing Covers We Also Perform And Do Gigs Our Music Soothes Ur Ears n Open Up Ur Heart.
